Dan’s Guardian Web Content Filtering

I’m currently working on a project to implement a LAMP stack of functions for the purpose of automatically configuring Dan’s Guardian, a web content filtering application from www.dansguardian.org.  The software itself is open source, which comes with a perfect price tag (FREE!!!), but you have to compile it yourself.  After messing with it for a good couple of hours, I finally found a version from 2007 that would compile without errors.  If you have more time on your hands, you may want to try compiling a newer version.  And if you get it to work, please let me know the secret.
